What is Wellness Coaching?

Professional coaches have long been recognized for their skills in helping athletes and executives perform at their best. Now professional wellness coaches are helping people reach their best health and well-being.

Wellness coaches are trained to help clients develop and implement personal wellness plans by:

  • accepting and meeting us where we are today
  • asking us to take charge
  • guiding us in doing the mindful thinking and doing work that builds confidence
  • helping us define a higher purpose for wellness and uncover our natural impulse to be well

My approach:

We all want to and can be healthy, but we have so much going on that it's hard to make the time and stay on track. I don’t believe in extreme workouts. I don’t believe in diets. Those types of approaches may work for a while, but are really hard to keep up with long-term, and can even be detrimental to your health. When you work with me, you create healthy habits for life. When you implement realistic and enjoyable actions a little at a time, you set yourself up for lasting results.

                             One on One Telephone Coaching

As your coach, I will help you clarify your priorities and develop your personal wellness plan.  I will guide you in finding your personal motivation that will keep you going and support you in using your strengths to meet your goals.  A minimum of 3 months of coaching is necessary to achieve consistent results.

Convenient telephone coaching includes:

-90 minute wellness planning session where we review your well-being assessment, and develop your vision, 3 month goals, and 1st week goals.

-Weekly or bi-weekly coaching 30-45 minute sessions where we review weekly progress, discuss topics of importance to you, brainstorm new ideas, and agree on next week's goals.
