They arouse, engage, energize, and challenge you to reach higher at the right moment. They have a bird dog's ability to sniff out your strengths, values, and desires. They are playful when appropriate. They take risks and ask courageous questions. They don't rescue you from emotional muck - sometimes you need to sit in it for a bit to energize your desire to change. They know that your life is at stake if you don't take care of yourself. And they know how to celebrate your successes.
The process of wellness coaching progresses through several stages:
Sheryl Richard is a health and well-being strategist who truly believes “knowledge is power” and is convinced that taking charge of your well-being allows you to live a longer and healthier life.
Sheryl's professional journey includes over 25 years business experience in project management, information technology, facilitating, teaching, mentoring, and training. While fulfilling the role of Wellcoaches Coach Concierge and pursuing her dream of more effectively helping people to "be well,” she became a Certified Professional Health and Wellness Coach, later embarked upon and completed her doctoral journey, then most recently became a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach. In addition, Sheryl eagerly serves as a Professor, specifically as Contributing Faculty/Dissertation Mentor for a univerity's online PhD Health Services program and Adjunct Faculty for another university's online Health Care Management program.
Sheryl applies her talents and skills to work with people from various walks of life, namely executive and ministerial leadership; multi-faceted professionals; scholars; overwhelmingly busy individuals; those desiring help with transition; as well as those who feel stressed, stuck, and find it difficult to get things done.
Sheryl's faith and spiritual foundation form the premise upon which she is able to fulfill her lifelong passion for prayerfully helping others to be wholly well. Through her professional practice and desire to help individuals realize their full potential and make their dreams come true, Sheryl graciously encourages, inspires, educates, and coaches others to be, do, live, and give their best!
